well, I have just started experimenting with CST in my practice a bit, and I went to a seminar put on by Ken Dipersio. He sells DVD's, but I feel that they may be more of an adjunct to the seminar than a full on instructional DVD.
CSTBrian may have some better info.

Have you had any training in CST or are you looking to train through a video?

Just trying to get an ideal of whats it about through a DVD. Not trying to get 'certified' or advertise myself as a CST specialist. As they say for informational purposes only.

That's cool. I just wanted a bit more info so I could advise you based on what you were looking for ...

My advice for you is to not spend the money on a DVD right now. I have yet to find a DVD that really makes sense without having taken a class. I recommend you find someone in your area that is certified or has taken three or four classes and regularly practices the work. Get a session and see if the practitioner would be willing to spend some time before the session explaining CST. Then you can decide if you want to learn more about it through a class or video (although I highly recommend a class and not a video).

I just did this the other with a local bodyworker. I enjoy any opportunity to educate fellow bodyworkers (and anyone else, really) about CST. I find so many people either have no idea what CST is and how it works or they think it's energy work.

I give this advice to many people even just thinking about CST. I think it is so important to experience the work first. I feel this is true with any modality. Just like I feel that a person who wants to be a massage therapist should have at least one massage before going to massage school. With CST, one needs to receive the work to truly understand how to give the work.
