Has anyone else out there tried GT's Kombucha?

I found out about it when I visited a retreat center in Mentone, Alabama called Heartwood. The local health food store had it and the cool fella at the restaurant there in town suggested it to me.

Wow. I've taken a lot of supplements and tried a lot of energy drinks in my time but this one has to be the best ever. I could literally feel the difference in minutes.

It has been wonderful for helping with energy and elimination too.

Anyone else as sold on it as I am?

They were very popular at my school. It does seem to be one of the superior brands of kombucha, as opposed to, for example, Kombucha Wonder Drink, which is more of a marketing ploy than a health food.

I have never tried any other form of kombucha so I guess I just got lucky with this one. Just went to my local health food store and picked up the case that I had ordered. Love it.

The funny thing is that I don't like the taste at all but the instant I take a drink of it, it's like my body is saying it has to have more. My body makes me drink it, if that makes sense.

Sure can tell a difference in my energy levels.

I'm so glad you brought this up. I LOVE this stuff. And I do notice a difference in my health, digestion and appearance. It's wonderful. My favorite flavor is "Trilogy." "Rasberry" is pretty good too.

I'm not sure what my favorite is. At different times, my body likes one or the other but I think the one with ginger may be the one I like best.

Trilogy is good too though. Just had that a few days ago.

The citrus with lemon is really good for liver cleansing.

I'm paying about $3.35 per bottle buying them at Whole Foods. What's the price break down to if you buy by the case?

it depends on what the merchant is willing to do.

most just give a 10 or 15 percent discount on a case but i have a really good relationship with my local health food store (i should have, i spend enough there, ha) and she does better than that for me.

try asking for more....all they can say is no.

i told them i'd be ordering regularly too, which helps.

This thread inspired me to get a bottle of raw, organic, local strawberry kombucha with dinner recently. I'm not used to it, and couldn't drink even half of it! A little goes a long way!

So I take it home, put it in the fridge, and last night get it out to have a drink. And the bf says, "Oh you don't want that look at the bottom." and I remember to shake it and say:

"That's the good stuff. Kombucha is alive."

and he says:

"So is the plague."
