MT School?

Hi All! I am looking to train in MT and was wondering if anyone could give me some feedback on Cortiva Massage Therapy School.

You might try asking around and seeing if you can chat with some of their graduates. Grab a cup of tea with someone who went to that particular school and pick their brain about the aspects that would be important to your education: do they help you find a job after you leave, or were they particularly good for this type of learning style or that.

When I was doing the research on the school I went to Reflexology for I interviewed a couple of graduates and got to hear a variety of pros and cons. It was helpful to know what I was getting into and whether the cons would be detrimental to my training or not.

Dragonflies, Thanks for the advice! I've already spoken to a few MT's in the area and received good feedback from them about the school.

While I haven't attended that specific school, I did attend the Chicago School of Massage Therapy right before Cortiva took over. Since then as an alumni, I've had good experiences in dealing with with them as far as continuing education and information available to me (access to job boards and such.)

I know that's not much, but I hope it might help a touch.

Thanks JaeMarie, I just want to make sure I touch as many bases as I can before I invest my time and $$. There are so many schools in the Boston area that just want your money and don't care about the student.
