Your post got me curious about the Rose I have used for a few years. The label reads "Pure Organic Rose Otto Essential Oil, 5% dilution in Jojoba,
Rose damascena flower, steam distilled, Bulgaria"
I acquired most of my essential oils at Apothecary Tinctura in Denver, CO when I was living there. It's a great company, and they teach professional classes on aromatherapy in house. http://www.apothecarytinctura.com
I'm not an aficionado of essential oils by any means, so I don't have a strong opinion. Your post is informative regarding the geography/politics, thanks for the enlightenment. I don't know if their supplier uses the Gas Chromotography process. I suspect they offer the Rose Otto because they are geared toward health and wellness rather than perfumery.
I use the rose more for myself, though sometimes also with clients to access higher energetic vibration when I'm intuitively drawn to. I really like your idea of offering Rose for Valentine's Day, I'm going to think about that!
