I just graduated from massage school in August and received my license to practice in the state of NY just a week ago. I had my first interview today (it went well - I got a position!), and have another lined up for Monday.
Massage is a third career for me. After some serious thought, in 2010 I left a career in corporate finance to start massage school. Before working in finance, I obtained a M.A. in Special Education and was a teacher for five years. Like many massage therapists, I also have a background in dance.
So, that's my story, and I'm sticking to it!
I am going to post a question about deep tissue massage and interviews in the (hopefully) appropriate section, shortly. I would love some input from the veterans here!
