**What are Cookies?**

Cookies are used by the board to allow personalized functions.

Functions such as:

Labeling what you have read and have not read.
Labeling what threads are new to you since your last visit.
Remembering your password.

Cookies may cause some occasional problems when accessing pages on the board or when trying to log-in.

If you encounter problems, try clearing your cookies.

To clear cookies:
Click on Tools at the top of your explorer(internet) screen
Click on Internet Options
Click on Delete Cookies then OK
Click on Delete Files (check off <delete all offline content> then OK
Then click OK in the window and close the window

The steps may differ a little with browsers like Mozilla or Netscape, but it is basically the same process.
Once your cookies are cleared, you will need to close your browser and then re-open BWO.  You will also need to log-in again.
