because you'd rather massage then sit.

the person sitting next to you at the bar asks for something for her headache. your response is - "how about you ditch that vodka, down a couple pints of water and go home and take a hot bath?"

not that i actually said this out loud, of course. and if we were anywhere but a bar, i'd have added a :massage: to that to-do list!

...when you always travel with a pair of heavy duty work gloves as you never know when and how you might need to use your hands for non-massage activites (like the other day when I stopped to help a guy pick up a load of firewood that has spilled out of his trailer onto the road...)

This is my favorite quote so far! The first and last time I owned a pair of high heels was when I was eight. They weren't comfortable, and I kept rolling my ankle. "You'll get the hang of 'em!" just didn't cut it for me. I've worn wedge sandals and platforms for pictures, but if I'm going to be walking around, I wear flats.

In fact, Vibram Five Fingers are my favorite shoes to date.

Yep, that exact style.
I know what some of you are thinking! "I hate things between my toes! I can't even stand toe-socks!" Neither can I, but I assure you these are different. If a local store sells them, try them on and see what you think! I plan on purchasing a couple more styles so I can wear them year-round. I'm also looking into getting a larger pair so I can wear the socks with them. The socks are also different than the toe-socks we're all used to.

I'm not vendor! I promise! I just love these shoes!

I couldn't agree more. I love these "shoes"!

Nothing is more natural or better in terms of comfort and well being than bare feet and I have found nothing closer to being barefoot than Five Fingers. While barefoot is always my preference, I wear my Five Fingers when I want a bit of added protection. They allow for full use of propriceptors, which shoes do not, increasing your awareness, agility, and balance for a wide range of activites. I particularly love them for frisbee!

Getting your feet into them at first requires a bit of getting used to but once you master this they are priceless.

you stare at people in yoga class and notice that the right side of their body is way to tight and have to contain yourself from trying to help them

When you are sitting in a local theatre watching the actress on stage deliver a powerful, gut-wrenching monologue about her dead husband…..the audience is in tears….and all I can focus on is how pronounced the actress’ SCM is from screaming and crying!
