Mine was formed from taking the letters out of my high school long-in password. I noticed that I could pronounce the letters in the order they appeared, liked how it sounded, so it's been my screen name ever since.

I came up with mine during the NMT section of my training and realized I was pretty good at finding TrPs. So it became my business name as well.

I needed a handle for a World of Warcraft character. Mae (or May) is the month I was born in and I've always loved the name "Lynn". I put them together and fiddled with the pronunciation until it sounded suitable for an MMO and ran with it. I've been using it for non-World of Warcraft handles ever since.

My umbrella company is Native Enterprises, then I have Native English. That is really where "Native" comes from, as I teach English as a Second Language and Accent Reduction. Native is a oft used term in the linguistics industry referring to how close to a Native born speaker one's mastery of the language is. Staying with Native as a theme to tie my companies together, I have Native Bodyworx. I have provided aromatherapy blends and essential oils under "The Alchemist's Room" for many, many years, so I must leave that good old gem - though it is not "native."

Fluorescent Crayon was a very, very old nickname of mine and kind of a bad joke. When I first heard of a blog site called Live Journal, I decided to use my old nickname as my username. The correct spellings of "fluorescent and "crayon" were too many characters when put together thus fluresentcrayon was born. Tada! :smt006

My name is what brings me here. I decided the Mods might not like CapeTownMassage, as it looks like advertising (I´ve been a mod elsewhere myself), so I did Cape Town BodyWorker.

I came up with my name during one of my creative moments. I was trying to describe myself metaphorically, and as usual, one word is never enough!! I'm as precious as a diamond and as beautiful as a flower. Like a diamond in the rough, I have to undergo a comprehensive process to bring out the best in me. Like a flower, I have to grow before I reach full potential. I could go on and on listing the similarities, but give me time and I will encompass the best of both...and be a diamond flower
I'm sure most are like :smt017 lol...my mom hates it!!

My father's family was originally from the Alsace-Lorraine region of France. The moved to Germany in the mid-15th century and continued in their profession (building churches). The name "l'hommedieu" was eventually Germanized to Lamade.
