Thanks for sharing. :)

I don't have something to add, and that's just too bad, since I love both art and music. :smt009
May your trails be crooked, winding, lonesome, leading to the most amazing view. May your rivers flow without end, meandering through valleys tinkling with bells...

Perhaps what is expressed here is what shows up during massage
as an altered state:

Is there a difference between massage and prozac?

That was great!

Alas, I must say that there is a difference. After much arguing with myself, I admitted that I needed the boost, and I was on the medication for a year. It kept my nerves under control so that I could actually think clearly and recognize all the little things that were bothering me. It helped me get rid of baggage without immense feelings of guilt, as I was apt to feel without it. I tapered off with my LNP's approval, and since then, I'm still able to distinguish responsibilities from baggage rabble. There are days when I'd really like to run back and say, "Gimme a pint!" but I know that I don't need it, and I don't want to be dependent.

Video games have some amazing ambient music depending on the mood you're trying to set. (Since it's professional composers creating it all, of course it's going to be good a lot of the time :))

Funny, I was just listening to a story on MPR a few weeks ago about composers and video games. It is some amazingly beautiful and haunting music.

I'll need to look that up. My husband and I actually pulled music from a bunch of video games for our wedding reception. It was fun watching a few reactions because it "sounded so familiar" but "it couldn't be..." But it was! Even some of the older guests recognized some of the themes, and there wasn't a single complaint about the music. :D
