BWO asks, that when possible, you keep your animations "gentle".

Anything moving in the peripheral vision can dominate ones awareness. For some people, a permanently moving animation makes it very hard to concentrate on reading text.

A few helpful tips for those who have difficulties with animations:

1.) Let the member know. We're a pretty nice bunch here and certainly don't want to cause you an inability to read our awesome forums!

2.) Hold down the scroll button to pause moving graphics so you can read without distractions.

3.) Holding down the scroll does not stop the action in Netscape. However, in Safari it does.
