This is the second time that I have noticed the message saying that the server is full or it says there is some type of error. I have noticed that the times this happened to me was on the weekends.

SQL ERROR [ mysql4 ]

MySQL server has gone away [2006]

An sql error occurred while fetching this page. Please contact an administrator if this problem persists.

Plus various other General Error and SQL Error messages. It's getting to where I might be able to get to BWOL only 1 or 2 times a week.......

I restored my computer back to the day before I had a problem, and I seem to be okay.

I know you were able to correct the font issue on the actual part of the board we read (see below*), but there are still the other areas that have the font problem. The "skins" don't make a difference for the fonts. Would you mind looking into that? I know you are busy, but it would make a huge difference.

Also, may I suggest that the forum still has a serious hiccup that makes it very hard to respond to posts. If one is typing a very long post and the is in need of correcting it in preview, the situation is difficult at best (have to re-scroll to correct each item individually, and especially, can't cut and paste or delete with ease -- the screen jumps around and worse, entire chuncks of text get highlighted without an ability to highlights a small portion --- thus making it to where you have to delete letter by letter. In a case where you need to delete an entire paragraph, but the highlighting takes hold of most of your text, you are deleting lines of text by one letter at a time). Would it be possible to find a way to fix that when you get some time?

Thanks!

This following top example has been corrected in the original fix Josh provided me with. However, the other examples below this one, did not clear out in that fix.

Another "glitch":

Many of the old posts are difficult to read because of the "breaks" ( <br> ) in them from the transfer to the new system. So, now, when there should be a break/gap/new "paragraph" in someones sentence structure, it is not there, but shows up with the gaps. Here's an example: http://www.bodyworkonline.com/forum/vie ... 5&p=141045

I know it's a lot of post specific, manual work, but will the team be going through and removing those at some time?

If someone has any questions on how that is corrected, feel free to PM me... but basically, all you do is go into the post, remove the <br>'s and add in hard returns where the breaks were originally at. Next, check the post in "preview" to make sure the gaps ar in place and you are good to go! :)

If worse comes to worse, I would most likely be free to volunteer for this in about 6-8 months if wanted/needed.

I was wondering why we haven't had much participation lately.

For the past three days I link up to BWOL and get an "error". Me, being the "clicker" I am --- just click on the refresh button and then I get the BWOL Board Index.

I am thinking other people aren't so click-y and therefore haven't considered "refreshing" to get here.

But, no matter... it seems we have an error occuring again.

Also, I'd like to make a pitch for the fon't to be looked at again. See my post two above this one. I know Josh was able to fix a portion of the font on that fix he did a few months ago. Maybe he could look at the code and fix the other problems I mentioned and presented? *pretty please*

Tis the season....for some reason the holidays bring out all the spammers from the woodwork and they overload the board. We delete and ban them as quickly as we can.

Nope, not having it anymore. It seemed to have resolved yesterday, 11/23/10. I assumed ya'll had fixed it. :)

I can't send a PM. it sits in the outbox. And I just found one from a long time ago sitting there which was now irrelevant so I deleted it.

Thanks, Marion

PMs sit in the outbox until the recipient opens them, then they are moved to the sent box. This helps to let you know if a PM is ever read.

For the past several days I kept getting this message whenever I attempted to visit the forum:

This is from an issue with our hosting service. We are aware of the problem and our Tech Admin is currently working on it.

Thanks,

The last major site glitch seems to have knocked out my avatar. It isn't important; all I need to do is re-upload.

It's broken for me too... Mine did the same thing recently and I notice a lot of board members' avatars are broken, but maybe they don't show that way to everyone? hm.
