Massage Office vs. Massage Director

Postby healer611 on Sun Feb 01, 2009 6:38 am

For those of you who use either, what do you like about the software?

Are there any monthly or yearly fees associated with these programs after purchasing?

I have been looking into both and want your opinions on ease of use, customer service, etc.

tried both.. Massage Director won!

I'm new to this and have been thinking about software a while. I was excited to see this note. I downloaded both (for free) and compared them, although time consuming, I did not want to waste money.

Massage Director had much more to offer that I love - the SOAP charting, the client information files, the appointment making is sooo easy for my whole life, not just appointments. Each day I'm working with it. Plus, I can now keep track of all my finances and print off monthly reports.

Massage Director is soooo user friendly and easy to get started right away. It has really made my business tracking easier. I highly recommend them, and I haven't paid for more than there one time fee for the software. No additional fees makes it an easy win for my massage software.

Good Luck - hope you like Massage Director as much as I do!!

We recently bought Massage Director, and I'm having some trouble with it. It seems to "lose" appointments from time to time. Marcia, would you be willing to discuss MD with me? I have a feeling that I'm doing some things wrong with it- I do like it- much better than Customer Pro File- but there are a few things I just can't seem to "get". It doesn't go as smoothly for me as I'm thinking it should.

I'm interested in a program like Massage Director, but somehow its link isn't working! Can anyone offer advice? I can google it but not access the website.
I am looking for database software so that I can track my client info. Ideally, I’d like it to be able to integrate with my accounting software, email marketing, address book and SOAP notes. It sounds like Massage Director would be ideal.
Why is it preferred over Massage Office? Thanks! Pamela

Try to find Massage Director and the company "Coffee Stain Technologies" now. Hmmmmm....here today, gone tomorrow. Along with your money, support, updates, etc. There is usually a reason that some software is so cheap. 'Nuf said.
