Hi there,
Don't know of anyone in NJ, but depending on the type of animal, I might be able to track down someone here in
Southeastern PA. We're just across the river from there
after all !

Hi! Cool - thanks!! Animal is a German Shepherd with joint issues, I believe...she is starting physical therapy and looking into Acupuncture.

Let me know and in the meantime, I'll check and see if Southeastern PA works.

Thanks again!

Do you know where in NJ? My school offered a class, and they probably have a list of the practitioners who took it. I know the laws in NJ are easier for an MT to practice on animals... where in NY you have to be a vet tech.

The school is Healing Hands Institute in Westwood NJ, if they want to contact them directly to look for a practitioner.
love as always,
Muriel

This is a holistic vet who does acupuncture on animals in
Washington Crossing, Bucks County PA. (on the PA/NJ border, along the Delaware River-not far from Trenton, NJ)

http://www.devakhalsavet.com (215) 493-4335
I emailed her asking if she knows of any practitioners in
Central Jersey who do massage for canines. Will have to wait & see if she responds.

As to massage, I do have a friend who does shiatsu work on dogs - located in Bucks County - if you would like her info. She works part time at a place called The Pet Campus (a facility offering boarding, training, grooming, & doggy day care) out of Pineville, PA www.thepetcampus.com
(215) 598-7414

There's one other holistic vet in our local area that's a bit further north who offers acupuncture on animals
(Bucks County) Holicong, PA 19067 215-493-0621 ext. 6 Dr. Barrie Barr VMD, CVA ...

This site is for holistic vets over a large portion of the country which may help:

Hopefully this helps you out!
