Ashiatsu all inclusive class

Postby booyah on Thu Sep 08, 2011 10:02 am

Hi!

I'd like some advice from those people who have taken an ashiatsu CE class. I am considering signing up for the deep feet all-inlcusive class with BAsics, sidelying, and DF2 all taken within 2 weeks. For those who have experience with the modality do you think that taking all of these levels together is beneficial (if you do how so?) or do you think that it is better to wait for a longer period in between the classes?

any other suggestions or feedback about this modality are welcomed!

Thank you to those that have experience in this modality for taking the time to give me some feedback!

These should get you going until someone who knows this kind of work can reply. Most are older threads, so we've most likely got some new people on the forums who will be able to respond with even more enlightened comments.

I like to compile as many threads on a subject when I can, because it also helps me when I start looking up things in the future... so, please don't think I'm trying to be a smartie-pants! :)

Pueppi is like the helpful spider of BWOL, putting together all the threads into a very useful web of info! ;) I love your posts like these and I'm sure all the lurkers for ages to come appreciate it as well. THANKS.

I did the all inclusive two week courses last year. For me, it's what worked best. I think it depends on your personality and stregnths/weaknesses. I wanted to get it done and overwith quickly. I do get overloaded (over stimulated in groups) and I think because of that I never would have returned for the other classes after taking the first one. It was hard to absorb all that information so quickly, but I did also buy the videos and I practiced alot right after the classes.

I love doing Ashiatsu!!!! I am so glad I did it and my clients love it!

I believe our own stonegirl (a moderator here @ BWOL) is an ashiatsu instructor... that's who I'd ask.
You might try sending her a PM if you don't think she'll catch this post.
Though she probably will, because this is the section she moderates...

Hi there! :smt006

I'd have to agree with Convoluted in that it depends on your personality and strengths/weaknesses. It's ALOT of information, and it's also physically challenging. It will definitely be less challenging if you're very fit. Personally, I like having the time between classes to absorb the information and practice it before adding new information in... But I know the all-inclusive is great for therapists that can't travel several times for a class. It's convenient, and if you're a quick learner, will work out great.
That being said, whether you choose the all-inclusive or the individual classes, I think you will be so glad you learned Ashiatsu Oriental Bar Therapy and your clients will love it! I look forward to hearing which class you choose and how your experience is!
