A board covering matters of regulation and requirements as well as discussion regarding the bodywork and related professions. Wow! Now that's a lot of discussion!

I am wondering if this is going to be complicated. Is this going to be an easy transition from KY to TX? What do I need to do after I take the national exam in KY? Do I have to get residency in TX first? Any information would be helpful!

Check out Texas DSHS web site. http://www.dshs.state.tx.us/massage/mt_atherapist.shtm
There are protocols for a license applicant who is moving into the state. Your national certification should serve as "having passed the test", but they will likely want to look at your MT school transcripts, and (being Texas) will probably find some reason to have you go re-take some course or other. Best to call DSHS and ask. The # will be on the web site. Good luck! Where in TX are you moving to?
