Re: on Line scheduling (LINK ?)
Any scheduling system you choose to use will most likely give you a link for your clients to go to to get to the scheduler, and some will even have the option of embedding the scheduler right to your website. Most systems also will email you with the client's appt request. Some also text. I have bee...

Re: Instant Gift Certificates from your website
moose_goose, thanks for the feedback! I spent two weeks doing an extensive trial with BodyworkBuddy and I really like it ... except for the lack of a few features and the $35/mo price tag. It's really great though, lots of thoughtful features, is very usable and so nice to have it focused on bodywo...

Re: Cost and Options for Taking Over a Client List
I'm not going to do it. At most, her help and client list would be worth $1500 to me ($1000 for her time and $500 for the list) ... MAYBE $2000. Saying her figures are based on the "industry standard" makes me wonder what industry she's talking about. If it's a general method for all industries (sh...

Re: Cost and Options for Taking Over a Client List
I haven't clicked on those other threads, so what I say might be a repeat... I think something you need to think about is what is the likelihood of these clients becoming your regulars... Where I'm at, I sent out a survey to my clients to see if they would be open to seeing another therapist in our ...

I can only speak for Snap & Spaboom, but both of them the purchaser can print or email. It seems you've now switched to Bodywork Buddy. I'm considering that, along with other options. Why did you switch and how do you feel about Bodywork Buddy? Thanks! Ah yes, Bodywork Buddy! ... but let me backtra...

Re: How to have hot towels ready all the time?
You could just throw the unused towels in the dryer at the end of the day.
I would NOT leave them wet/moist (warm/hot or cold/cool) overnight EVER. They will smell rank and turn your clients OFF.

I live in Terre Haute, Indiana. I understand I need to be certified and licensed. All classes I can find are at least an hour drive from my home. Is it possible to get a certificate in an online course? Does anyone have any suggestions for schooling? How long, on average, does it take to finish a c...

Re: Table width extenders for arms?
My last table was an earthlite spirit with the arm extenders. There was the holes drilled on either side of the table to accomodate the extenders, they slide in jsut like the headrest does. Before that I used this kind : http://www.earthlite.com/armrest-bolsters.html which worked ok, but added on al...

Re: Michael Youngs training - thoughts?
I just noticed that Michael Young is changing his 2013 seminars to one-on-one. You set how many hours you want...for $95 per hour. :irked: Now I am confused. I am looking to start taking some Sports massage training, but that is alot more than I can afford. So I am considering buying the DVDs and s...

I haven't heard of any yet! Try looking at the site to see who the vendors are, and then "like" them on fb. If they get codes, they have posted them there in the pastSchmeckpeperg wrote:Any codes yet for 2013? Thanks in advance! I haven't found any yet.

All the spam lately...
Is there anything the board admins or owners can do about all the spam? It's getting to be seriously irritating. Anything you can do with the settings to make it just a little more difficult for them?
I don't ever remember it being this bad!!
Thanks!

yes, it does make me shake my head. It's a shame that this got passed - there is a massage school located in this town. The owners have worked diligently for years in getting state licensing passed. So this local ordinance, passed AFTER state licensing, seems misguided at best. I am NOT going to ca...
