Re: Being asked to "volunteer" at events

depends on several factors including:proximity to your practice, health awarness of the participants, making sure you dont give away the farm ie 5min max not 20 min massages, are you asking the right questions of the people on the chair ie do you have coverage and do you go for mt?. when i did free ...

what ever you do, dont give him the buisness plan! he could use all that hard work for him self, also you could tell him 50% up to 500$ then %100 to you?. Also make sure that you have your own buisness cards made, and very importantly you have your own phone number that you can forward to his clinic...

electric table from kajiji

My old portable had a couple small tears in the cover, so instead of paying $160 to get it recovered, i looked on kajiji. I found an electric table about 8 years old in great working condition. i just had to spend $100 to get the end piece fixed where the headrest slides into. You won't believe how ...

Re: Massage Uniforms

It depends on your clinic type, atmosphere, and intended image/brand you are promoting. scrubs are very medical, and not as many people want this in our area, but alot of people dont want spa. Think of it this way, how many chiros or physios wear scrubs? and our buisness isnt that far off for many o...

Re: How do I jump back in?

The safest and most productive option would be to keep your day job (this is the slowest time for MT's,) then work evening at a clinic that has several providers like chiro and physio, sure you make a bit less per hour, butttt you will build up way faster! in ontario the provincial avarage for numbe...

I meant that you can give better care, with less cost to your patient by taking the full kinesio tape course for that initial investment of around $400 for the course.

we use kinesio tape and rock tape, both are just as good. Spyder tape rolls are great, but the pre cut is a gimmeck of sorts, designed for those that dont know what they are doing. the idea being you have a large selection of these in your clinic and you sell them to your pt, put it on, or teach the...
